We were on our way to film with a master barber at his shop at another locale, when my phone rang with news from our Producer, Laura, that the shoot was to be cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Seeing that we were in need of a story, Director Of Photography Tom Dudley offered up his father-in-law, Randy Barich, as a last-minute replacement. Luckily, Randy was around that day and willing to let us into his world for a little while. Therein lay the gift.
