Working with Brand Strategist Laurie Kellough to connect with Athabasca University, its communities, and its clients, we developed a story, a tone, and a rough script around The Uplift, a crowdsourcing activity that asks its community members (through existing email contacts and promoted social media) to propose topics for new micro-courses, covering issues of urgent and emotional relevance. Adding visuals, voice over, and music, the result was a successful and effective Animated Case Study Explainer Video that is simple, fun, informative, and memorable.
